Pergunta

Hi guys, I'm curious, can I run l2j server on windows server? So, I can use MSSQL server, but I do not know where is some kind difference between MYSQL/MARIADB and MSSQL server? If it possible how you think which is better linux or windows server and why?

I have access to free server machine x2 xeon 18c/36 each 128GB ram ecc 5x m.2 nwme 16G/s the thing is that it host a website (use practically no resources) on it and my friend do not want to use other operating system on his machine..

So please if someone knows anything or ever tried please let me know!

Thank you in advance!

Hello, MSSQL server will serve you perfectly, at least I see that in aCis all 3 are allowed, mysql, mariadb and sqlserver.
You can mount the server there, if you have permissions to run java.
I usually use Linux because they are cheaper servers and use few resources.
But in both systems you can mount an L2 server.
With the resources that you indicate that your server has. You are left over.
